CHESHIRE’S premier dance festival is returning to Northwich once again.
For the fourth year, Now Northwich will be back on Saturday, April 27, bringing yet another explosion of international dance and street arts to the walkways of the town centre.
Performers will take to the streets with captivating spectacles from high-energy hip hop to martial arts-infused dance, intricate acrobatics, and an aerial circus.
The free festival kicks off at 12pm with events in Barons Quay Square, River Park, Weaver Point, Apple Market Place, and along Witton Street.
At The Plaza, Cheshire-based Company Carpi will unite with the community of Northwich for the town’s very own dance opera.
Running alongside the main programme will be an interactive family trail of workshops and taster sessions.
Families can visit five nature stations where they can take part in butterfly-making workshops, a juggle jam session, and a hip hop workshop, while Northwich Library staff will again join in with Storytime in Park.
Artisan food vendors will complement the existing Northwich food offering with tasty treats from around the world.
Heading into the evening, the festival will culminate at dusk with a showstopping parade throughout the town centre by internationally renowned Compagnie Des Quidams & Inko'Nito from 8.15pm until 9.30pm.
With so much to see and do, this handy guide will help you navigate your way around Now Northwich 2024.
