A MAN who attacked a woman has been jailed.
Paul Egerton, of London Road in Northwich, has been sentenced to 20 weeks behind bars.
It comes after the 34-year-old admitted to one charge of assault causing actual bodily harm.
This relates to an incident on December 3, 2023, during which Egerton assaulted a woman.
Having pleaded guilty in January, Egerton appeared at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday (March 27) for sentencing.
Judge Simon Berkson sentenced Egerton to 20 weeks in jail.
