THE luxurious Chester Grosvenor hotel has been crowned ‘Large Hotel of the Year’.

The five-star hotel in the heart of the city was announced as a winner at the Marketing Cheshire Tourism Awards during the ceremony at Chester Cathedral on Thursday (March 21).

The Marketing Cheshire Tourism Awards celebrate excellence and innovation within the tourism industry, recognising outstanding contributions made by businesses and individuals in promoting the vibrant tourism landscape of Cheshire.

The Grosvenor said the award was a testament to its ‘commitment to providing hospitality experiences to remember’ combined with ‘its dedication to showcasing the city of Chester.’

The Grosvenor is a Grade II listed building which dates from 1865. It boasts 79 bedrooms and suites, two award-winning restaurants, a boutique spa, and extensive event spaces.
