COMMUTERS are being hit with hour-plus delays on the M56 this afternoon.
This is following a crash on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 12 and 14.
Two lanes are currently closed, resulting in 6.5 miles of queuing traffic and 70 minute delays.
"Please allow extra time for your journey," said a National Highways spokesperson.
Normal traffic conditions are expected to resume between 6.45pm and 7pm according to National Highways.
