THE incredible sight of dozens of tractors making their way along the rural roads around Northwich has been captured on drone footage.

On Sunday, February 11, hundreds of families lined the streets to watch this year's Stretton Young Farmers Club (YFC) Tractor Run.

Around 70 tractors - of all shapes and sizes, both modern and vintage - trundled through various country villages, including Stretton, Barnton, Comberbach, Great Budworth and Antrobus.

Drone operator Robert Youd captured the parade on video and has kindly shared the footage to give us a bird's eye view of the event.

The Stretton YFC will be sharing the proceeds raised from the fundraising parade between the club and a charity that means a lot to its members, The British Heart Foundation.

Hannah Reade, vice chairman of Stretton YFC, said: “Heart attacks that strike without warning, stokes that shatter futures, newborn babies born with broken hearts.

“These are just some of the cruelties of cardiovascular disease.

“And the brutal reality is, there is so much more for science to discover before we can beat the world’s biggest killers.

“That’s why the British Heart Foundation exists to fund research.”

Tractors travelled from the Antrobus Arms to Appleton Thorn, Stretton, Hatton, Little Leigh, Barnton, Anderton, Comberbach, Marston, Wincham, Pickmere, Great Budworth and Antrobus.
