A DRUG dealer has been jailed.

Kenneth Dyson from Winsford will spend three years behind bars after admitting to dealing cocaine in Northwich.

The 34-year-old was arrested by police at the end of last year following an investigation by officers from the Northwich Proactive Team.

PC Daniel Lee said: “Northwich Local Policing Unit is dedicated to disrupting the drug supply network and this is another example of how we are continually pursuing those intent on making money out of other people’s misery.

“We recognise that drugs and drug use have a detrimental effect on our communities and we will stop at nothing to rid the streets of this illegal activity.”

Dyson came to the attention of police in November 2023 when a phone was linked to him which was advertising cocaine for sale.

He was arrested on December 20 and charged later that same day, being remanded in custody after admitting that he had been dealing class A drugs since October 26, 2023.

Dyson, of Wheelock Drive in Winsford, appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday (January 22) where he was sentenced to three years in prison.

“You too can help us by reporting drug dealing in your area to police, every bit of information helps us to gather intelligence and close in on those dealing in illegal drugs," added PC Lee.
