A FIRE was "started deliberately" at a park.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service was called out to Winsford on Friday evening (January 19).
One engine, from the Northwich station, arrived at Finsbury Walk at around 5.30pm.
Upon arrival, crews found a small fire at a park, understood to be Greenfields Park Playground.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames using a bucket of water.
"Firefighters were called to reports of a small fire in a park on Finsbury Walk in Winsford," said a CFRS spokesperson.
"The fire, that is believed to have been started deliberately, was extinguished by the crew using a bucket of water."
Later on Friday, an engine from the Northwich station was sent to The Crescent, in Northwich.
Arriving at 8.36pm, the crew found a bin on fire and once again used a bucket of water to put it out.
