MEMBERS of Guardian Camera Club have shared some photographs taken around the area that perfectly capture the extreme weather that we see in the UK.
Each week we ask members to submit their photographs based on a theme - this week was extreme weather - and there were some stunning shots sent in.
From stormy skies to sunshine after the rain and from lightning strikes to winter's first snow - there were some fantastic images.
The Camera Club is a supportive and friendly group of amateur and professional photographers and as well as submitting photos taken recently, members also take part in regular themed challenges like parks in autumn, old and new and planes, trains and automobiles.
You can join 679 others in our camera club on Facebook at facebook.com/groups/guardiancameraclub
