A MAN has been charged following a firearms incident in Middlewich .
Andrew Dawson, was arrested at around 10.37am on Monday, January 15 after a police raid.
Officers from Crewe CID conducted a warrant at an address in Middlewich.
The 43-year-old, of Pinfold Lane, was subsequently charged with the possession of a prohibited weapon, namely a firearm and the possession a firearm during five-year period following suspended sentence of three months or more being passed.
Dawson appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court yesterday, Tuesday, where he was remanded in custody.
He is next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday, February 13.
