DRUG dealers arrested at a service station on the M6 have been jailed for a combined eight years.
Thomas Henry and Rory Young were caught by police at around 1.30pm on May 2, when officers stopped their vehicle at Knutsford Services.
The pair were taken into custody and subsequently charged with possessing class A drugs (heroin) with intent to supply.
Both men pleaded guilty to the offence – Henry on May 4 and Young on June 1.
Henry, aged 41, and 34-year-old Young returned to Chester Crown Court on December 20 for sentencing.
Judge Patrick Thompson handed Henry, of no fixed abode, a five-year sentence.
Young, also of no fixed abode, but predominantly Plymouth, was jailed for three years.
A Proceeds of Crime application hearing relating to the two men has been scheduled at the crown court for March 27 next year.
