A MOTORCYLIST was left with serious injuries after a crash in Middlewich.
Cheshire Police has launched an appeal for information following a crash on Warmingham Lane.
Officers were called to the scene at 4.43pm on Wednesday (December 6).
Upon arrival they found that an “unknown object” in the road had caused the rider of an orange MGB ATX motorcycle to lose control and come off his bike.
The 45-year-old man had to be taken to hospital with a “serious leg injury”, police said.
Now, officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to get in touch.
PC Chris Hough said: “This incident occurred at a busy time of day, so we are asking for anyone who saw what happened to get in touch with us, so we can piece together exactly what happened.
“The same goes for anyone with dashcam footage of the incident.”
Information can be reported to Cheshire Police via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or by calling 101, quoting IML-1707157.
