WINSFORD residents have a chance to do their Christmas gift buying in two of the region’s best shopping cities for just £7 return.  

The town council is organising two coach trips to take people from Winsford to Chester and Manchester to enjoy their wonderful December Christmas markets.

Shoppers can get a head start with their present buying, then spend the rest of the day roaming the cities and exploring the local attractions without having to worry about train strikes, driving, or parking.

The Chester trip goes on Saturday, December 9, and Manchester on Saturday, December 16.

For Chester, pick up is 10am outside Simply Signs, The Old Dairy, Well St, Winsford CW7 1HN.

Drop off is at 6pm, outside Brunner Guildhall, High Street, Winsford CW7 2AU

For the Manchester trip, the order is reversed, with pick up at 10am outside Brunner Guildhall, and drop off at 6pm outside Simply Signs.  

Tickets cost £7 each, and can be bought from the Winsford Town Council offices, second floor, Wyvern House, between 10am and 3pm on weekdays.

They can also we bought online on town council’s website. 

Both trips also have some free tickets available on a first come, first served basis.

Winsford town mayor, Cllr Ernie Welch, said: “I am really pleased to help support these trips to the Chester and Manchester Christmas markets.

“The trips are a great opportunity for families or individuals to have a trip out during the festive season to somewhere different without worrying about having to drive”.
