FOUR people have been arrested with drugs and cash seized after police raided a number of properties in Northwich.

Around 40 officers, including specials and the impact and collision investigation teams, executed four warrants across the town today (Thursday, November 30).

The addresses, raided as part of Cheshire Police's Operation Narrating, included Wade Crescent, Alamein Road, Oakwood Lane, and Artisan Way.

A further address - Brimstone Road - in Winsford, was also searched by officers as part of their inquiries.

Following the raids, two men and two women were arrested on suspicion of drug and harassment offences.

These include: a 28-year-old man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs; a 37-year-old woman on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs; a 32-year-old man on suspicion of possessing cannabis; and a 41-year-old woman on suspicion of harassment.

All four remain in custody and are assisting police with their investigation.

A further three people were issued with community resolution orders.

During the day of action, around £10,000 in cash was seized alongside a quantity of cannabis, THC edible gummies, nitrous oxide cannisters, pepper spray, and small amounts of white powder.

Chief Inspector Leeroy Moss said: "The warrants today are a great result for Northwich LPU, sending a message to residents that organised crime will not be tolerated.

"These warrants come off the back of information from the community, demonstrating that we act upon the information we receive.

"In addition to the arrests and warrants, we were also able to seize a number of items, including £10,000 in cash.

“I want to reassure the public we are doing all we can to crackdown on those who bring misery to our communities, helping to ensure Northwich and Winsford remain a hostile environment for those intent on committing crime.

"I would like to also appeal to the community that if anyone has any information about illegal drug activity or any other criminal activity taking place then they should report it to us on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and we will do the rest."
