FAMILIES are being invited to visit a magical Christmas wonderland and immerse themselves in a theatrical performance of an all-time favourite festive story.

Arley Hall near Northwich will be transformed into a theatrical venue in the final run up to Christmas Day as The Nutcracker is brought to life.

Organised by Sneaky Experiences, the live performances are sure to excite and entertain over the festive period.

Guests will join Clara and the Nutcracker in defeating the evil Mouse King during the 45-minute immersive theatre experience.

They will also be able to learn how to dance with the Sugar Plum Fairy herself, visit the Wishing Tree and receive an early gift from Santa Claus.

Sneaky Experiences founder Julia Benfield said: “Every room is dressed exquisitely, and our performers promise to immerse everyone in a winter wonderland of singing, dancing and live theatre.

Northwich Guardian:

“Every stage will be a photo opportunity.”

For those wanting to attend the festive theatre wonderland, the show will be held between December 20 and 24, with quieter performances also scheduled for Christmas Eve at 9.30am.

The quieter performances ensure minimal waiting times, with the story communicated in advance of the show, to support families' expectations.

The lighting and sound will also be adjusted, to allow all children to enjoy the magical winter experience.

Tickets, which include a day pass to Arley Hall and the opportunity to meet Santa and get a gift, are £22.50 plus a booking fee, with children under one going free.
