TWO people were treated for smoke inhalation at a house fire in Winsford.

Firefighters were called to a first floor property on Siddorn Street at 3.25am this morning, Thursday.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire is believed to have been caused by an e-cigarette on charge.”

North West Ambulance Service has confirmed that the two casualties were taken to hospital.

Crews from Winsford and Northwich dealt with the incident.
