A NEW parent and baby fitness class has launched in Mid Cheshire getting a huge thumbs up from all ages.

Leading Military Fitness hosted its inaugural class with a twist for new mums, where instead of using kettle bells to tone their bodies they used their newborns instead.

There were peekaboo press ups and baby shoulder pulses in the innovative new take on fitness classes.

Dave Marshall, owner and operator of Leading Military Fitness, said: “I’ve had lots of new mums enquire about joining the boot camp but don’t have child care in the day so can't come to my classes.

“All I have done is create a class for them to start training again.

“At the same time they are excellent role models to their children and they get some baby bonding too.

“It’s already a huge success!”
