A GHOST-HUNTING family from Winsford have been getting children involved in their paranormal investigations.
The Occult Family have officially launched their latest venture, ghost hunts for children.
The family’s interest in the afterlife only began last year when dad, John Paul (JP) Kenny, got mum, Kymmi Jeffrey, a ghost tour for her birthday.
Since then, it has flourished into a whole-family enterprise, involving daughters Snow and Pebble.
“We are overwhelmed by the support and interest from the public,” they said.
“Our aim is to bring the topic of paranormal to mainstream society.
“We cannot thank our followers and supporters for the last year.
“We will strive to keep doing what we love.”

They idea for Occult Kidz came about after JP and Kymmi noticed their eldest daughter had a special power.
The first event was a sell-out and saw a group of 23 brave youngsters explore Wincham Hall on Friday (August 25).
JP and Kymmi added: “It was an amazing night, the participation from the young people and parents was fantastic.
“We have some brilliant reviews on our Facebook from guests and many have asked when we will be holding the next Occult Kidz event.”
“We decided to launch The Occult Kidz to educate the younger generation that there is intelligent conscious energy out there.
“Snow, our eldest, can see energy and many other children are spiritually awake.
“The objective of these events is to aid the young people to gain a better understanding of the unknown, not to be scared and to investigate properly, identifying the differences between science and real paranormal evidence.
“We were a little unsure at the start of our journey to open such events to young people. As a company and as people, it is paramount that the safety and psychological well-being of young people comes first when conducting paranormal investigations."
On the choice of venue, they added: “Wincham Hall is an exclusive venue to the Occult Family and is rich in history going back to the Doomsday book.
“It is a safe working environment for the children to explore in and it also has a lot of proven activity.
“The staff at Wincham Hall are amazing and go above and beyond to help support our events there.”
It looks set to be a busy year for the family, with plans to open an occult room at their home in Winsford in October.
The exhibition will showcase haunted artefacts which have been sent to them from all over the world.
Guests will also be able to take part in ongoing paranormal research and get hands-on with the latest ghost-hunting equipment.
