Every week, the Northwich & Winsford Guardian publishes death notices and funeral announcements from the families of loved ones who have died.

As well as appearing in print, our death notice pages will remain online as a lasting tribute to the memory of those we have lost.

Judith 'Judy' Evans (née Shaw)

The 78-year-old, formerly of Winsford, Lanzarote, Appleton and Altrincham, died peacefully at Lostock Lodge Care Home on Sunday, August 13.

Judy was the beloved wife of Ray, dear mum of Paul and adored nana of Florence, Madeline and Freddie.

Funeral service at The Birches Crematorium, Northwich on Wednesday, September 6, at 1pm. Family flowers only please.

Maureen 'Mo' McNeill

The 76-year-old, of Winsford, died peacefully at Winsford Grange Nursing Home on August 20.

Mo was the much-loved wife of the late John and a devoted mum, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Requiem Mass to be celebrated at St Joseph's R.C. Church, Winsford, on Friday, September 1, at 10.30am, followed by committal at Vale Royal Crematorium.

Peter Anthony Woolley

The 71-year-old, of Weaverham, died peacefully in hospital on August 10.

Peter was the dearly loved dad of Ian, Peter and Jamie and a loving grandad.

Funeral service will be held at St Mary's Church, Weaverham, on Monday, September 11, at 11.30am followed by interment at Gorstage Cemetery.

Ethel May Wilding (née Leather)

The 80-year-old, of Leftwich, died peacefully at home on August 17 with her family by her side.

Ethel was the devoted wife of the late Keith, much-loved mum of Jacqueline, Sandra, Debbie, Ian and Steven and a sadly missed nana, great-nana, sister, sister-in-law and aunt.

Funeral service at St Wilfrid's Parish Church, Davenham, on Monday, September 4, at 10.30am followed by interment at Northwich Cemetery.

Elaine Rowe

The 95-year-old, of Winnington, died peacefully in hospital on Saturday, August 19.

Elaine was the dear wife of the late John; is sadly missed by Martin and Jane, Julie and Ged, Nigel and Denise; and also a devoted nan and great nan.

Clive Donald 'Don' Smith

The 88-year-old died peacefully at The Barns, Davenham, on Thursday, August 10.

Don was the dearly loved husband of Barbara, dad and grandad.

William 'Ray' Maddock

The 80-year-old, from Chester Road, Winsford, died on August 14 at Redwalls Care Home.

Ray was the loving husband of Pam, dad to Paul and Ian, father-in-law, proud grandad, brother and friend to many.

Funeral service to be held at Birches Crematorium (this is not the one on the A556), on Wednesday, August 30, at 1.30pm.

Christopher Robert Palin

The 82-year-old, previously of Rudheath, sadly died at Sandiway Lodge Care Home on August 14.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 5 at Vale Royal Crematorium at 3pm.

David RODEN

It is with great sorrow we announce that our beloved husband, brother-in-law and cousin died on August 11.

David leaves behind Trudy, Sheree, Alan, Jackie and Kathy and many friends. He was a keen motor enthusiast, musician, and artist.

The family welcome his friends to say their final farewells at Vale Royal Crematorium on Thursday, August 31 at 2pm. No dress code is required.
