AN ADVENTURE play area and a craft beer bar are set to open in Northwich.

The Northern Lights Group has announced that two new venues will soon be opening at Barons Quay.

Wild Tots replace Sticky Paws, introducing a new menu as well as events and activities for younger visitors, from interactive workshops to themed parties and live performances.

Meanwhile, Gasworks Immersive will take over the former Barons Quay Social.

The bar, which has already enjoyed success in Manchester, will offer craft beers and “competitive socialising”.

Guests will be able to enjoy dart boards, pool tables, and live music.

One of the standout features of Gasworks Northwich will be its terrace, where visitors can play a round of mini golf while taking in views of the waterfront.

Steve Pilling, with Carl Fraenkli-Rietti, Joe Foster and their teams are the visionaries behind these innovative ventures.

"We are thrilled to introduce Wild Tots and Gasworks to the vibrant community of Northwich,” they said.

“These venues are designed to cater to diverse tastes and create lasting memories for our guests.

“We believe in providing a first-class experience, whether it's through exceptional cuisine, engaging activities, or lively entertainment.

“We are excited to become an integral part of the Barons Quay community and contribute to its growth and success."

Councillor Nathan Pardoe, Cheshire West and Chester Council's cabinet member for inclusive economy, regeneration and digital transformation, added: "The council is committed to the regeneration of Northwich and I am delighted that Wild Tots and Gasworks Northwich will be opening in Barons Quay.

“This latest news is great for Northwich, showing continued business confidence in the town and further boosting its economy."

The venues are expected to open later in 2023.
