A MAIN road has closed following a crash.
The A54 between Winsford and Middlewich is closed near to the Brighton Belle pub after a crash involving two vehicles.
Police are urging motorists to avoid the areas and to expect delays.
Two Cheshire Fire and Rescue engines are also at the scene.
They have been working to free one person trapped in one of the vehicles.
The person has since been rescued and handed over to the care of paramedics.
An air ambulance was also called to the site of the crash.
