A WOMAN has been fined at court after drunkenly attacking a police officer and hurling racist abuse at him.
Jenny Pilkington, of Main Road, Moulton, appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on June 20 to be sentenced on three charges.
The court heard the charges stemmed from an incident in Northwich on March 5 earlier this year.
During the incident in London Road, the 31-year-old was found to be drunk and disorderly.
When a police officer intervened, she assaulted and racially abused him.
Pilkington pleaded guilty to charges of assault, drunk and disorderly behaviour and racially aggravated harassment at a court hearing on May 30.
Taking her pleas into account, magistrates fined her £300 which was uplifted due to the aggravating racist factor.
She must also pay £100 in compensation to her victim, court costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £240 surcharge.
