A 'QUIET' outdoor swimming pool has been revealed as one of Cheshire's hidden gems.
Nantwich Brine Pool is the place to beat the crowds and stay cool this summer after it has been named as one of the quietest outside pools in the UK.
This means it provides one of the best outdoor swimming experiences in the UK.
The outdoor pool first opened to the public on July 1, 1935, and is believed to be the only inland brine pool in Britain today,
The poolwater temperature is now maintained at 74 degrees F and through solar gain is usually much warmer.
Bath retailer Showers to You compiled the list, which is based on the number of hashtags used, as the weather continues to stay warm.
At the top of the list is Jesus Green Outdoor Pool in Cambridge with three hashtags followed by Parliament Hill Lido in London with six hashtags.
Meanwhile in ninth and tenth place were New Cumnock Pool in East Ayrshire with 184 hashtags and Droitwich Spa Lidl in Worcester with 194.
