TODAY is the summer solstice - the longest day of the year.
By the time the sun sets this evening we will have enjoyed 16 hours and 38 minutes of daylight.
To mark the occasion, we asked members of our Guardian Camera Club to share their golden hour photos - fabulous photos taken in the time just after sunrise or just before sunset, when the daylight is redder and softer than the rest of the day.
There were some super shots!
The Camera Club is a supportive and friendly group of amateur and professional photographers and as well as submitting photos taken recently, members also take part in regular themed challenges like churches, pairs and parks in summer.
