THERE’S something about seeing an old car or van and being transported back to your childhood or reliving memories of passing your driving test and taking to the wheel.
Day trips and holidays spent in vehicles that are now full of nostalgia.
Cars and vans registered in Cheshire had registration plates LG, M, MA, MB and TU, which were introduced in 1963 amid a growing number of vehicles on the road.
Number plates were first introduced in England in 1904, with a system which identified cars and where they were from with the codes on the registration plates.
In 1983, number plates beginning with the letters A to Y came into force before being replaced in 2001 with the current year of creation and regional identifiers.
