A ROAD in Northwich remains ‘impassable’ due to flooding today, Thursday, two days after it first closed thanks to heavy rain.
The A530 Griffiths Road in Rudheath closed in both directions on January 10 after heavy rainfall caused the carriageway to flood.
Today, January 12, the road is still flooded and closed to traffic between the A559 Manchester Road (Lostock Gralam) and B5082 Middlewich Road (Rudheath).
Heavy traffic is also reported in the area as a result.
Northwich Police took to Twitter to warn residents, saying: “Please don’t try to use this road as it is impassable.”
