A MAN has admitted burgling five commercial properties in Northwich earlier this year – including one charity.

Jonathan Heron committed the offences back in February, and officers started investigating the incidents.

In October, police in Northwich charged the 46-year-old with five counts of burglary other than a dwelling, with intent to steal.

Heron was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates Court.

And on November 29, Heron, of HMP Stoke Heath, Market Drayton, pleaded guilty to all counts.

The court heard Heron entered Fat Dog Retail, Spencer Street, on February 7, intending to steal.

He then targeted After Five in Station Road some time between February 17 and 20, before burgling Feathers and Cink Hair Salon in Witton Street between February 20 and 23.

Also between February 20 and 23, Heron burgled Care UK - previously of Chester Way - in the town.

Heron will be sentenced at Chester Crown Court from custody on January 4 next year.
