POLICE have named a man charged with a drugs offence after he was arrested during a raid on a Winsford house.

Officers executed a warrant at an address in Commonwealth Close on Monday, November 28, when Joshua Furmedge was taken into custody.

The 29-year-old, of Commonwealth Close, has since been charged with multiple offences.

These include possession with intent to supply class A drugs (cocaine) and possession of criminal property.

Furmedge appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday, November 30) where he was remanded in custody.

He is next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, January 4.
