LOVED ones will be remembered in a special Tree of Lights ceremony in Winsford next week.
Winsford Town Mayor’s Carol Service and Tree of Lights takes place on Thursday, December 8 at 4.30pm in Winsford Town Centre near Winsford Cross Shopping Centre.
Residents can dedicate a star in memory of a loved one to hang on an illuminated tree.
Dedication forms can be picked up from Winsford Library, Asda, Winsford Lifestyle Centre and Wyvern House, or on the council website.
Simply return the star to the Winsford Town Council offices where they will be prepared and placed on the tree.
All names will be read out during the ceremony at 4.30pm.
The stars will remain until after the 12th night of Christmas when the lights will be turned off and the stars removed.
The closing date for dedications is December 5.
