A TAXI driver in Winsford has been spreading Christmas cheer after decorating his taxi for the festive season.
It might still be only November but Stuart Macdonald is getting people in the Christmas spirit with strip lighting, Christmas music and Santa hats – all in the back of his taxi.
Stuart, who is self-employed but contracted through Ian’s Taxis, said: “I've only been doing taxi driving since July this year.
“I was a DJ, so I enjoy putting a smile on people's faces.
“Me and my wife decorated the taxi for Halloween and now for Christmas.
“We enjoy brightening up people's day and it seems to work.
“We have had people stop me in the streets to say how amazing the taxi is.
“Children's faces light up when they see it.
“It's an amazing feeling to know something so small can make a big difference in someone's day.”
One passenger took to social media to thank Stuart, saying: "His brilliant efforts made our night."
