A 25-YEAR-OLD man has been disqualified from driving for more than a year after drinking alcohol and getting behind the wheel.

Daniel Krossoy, of Wessex Drive, Rudheath, was driving along Kelsall Hill A54 with alcohol in his system on May 7 of this year.

He gave a reading of 128 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood – well over the prescribed limit of 80 milligrams of alcohol.

Appearing in Chester Magistrates Court on November 22, Krossoy pleaded guilty to the offence.

Taking this into account, magistrates fined Krossoy £400 and disqualified him from driving for 15 months.

He must also pay £120 in court costs and a £40 surcharge.
