POLICE are searching for the driver of a car which was abandoned in Cuddington after failing to stop for officers.
At around 12.05am today, Monday, November 21, officers attempted to stop a Blue BMW on the A55, near Chester.
The driver failed to stop and travelled towards Northwich where they abandoned the car.
Despite police’s efforts, the driver has not been located.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “The driver of the car failed to stop and made off at speed, travelling towards Northwich, before abandoning the car in Cuddington and making off on foot.
“Officers, supported by the police helicopter and police dogs, conducted a search of the area and were unable to locate the driver.
“Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 1417634.”
