ARMED police surrounded a flat in Middlewich after a man was found ‘acting erratically’ with a machete.
Police were called to Wheelock Street shortly before 7.15pm on Thursday, November 3, after reports of a disturbance.
Officers found a man armed with a machete inside a flat.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “The man refused to come out and officers negotiated with the man.
“At around 12.30am officers entered the flat and arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of affray.”
