NORTHWICH Victoria will head to the Isle of Man this weekend on the back of successive 2-0 home losses.

Vics were defeated by Kendal Town in Wednesday's North West Counties League Premier Division clash, a performance described as the worst of the season by manager Steve Wilkes, which came four days after falling to table toppers Vauxhall Motors.

Goals by Finley Lynch (29) and Brandon Croskell-Robinson (90) saw the Cumbrians go home happy.

Tomorrow Vics face FC Isle of Man for the first time, with Wilkes stating there will be team changes due to players being sat in a comfort zone.

The Ravens, based at The Bowl in Douglas, were only formed in 2020 and gained promotion to the Premier Division by winning play-off ties against Wythenshawe Amateurs and New Mills in April, before beating Cammell Laird in the First Division Challenge Cup.

FC Isle of Man are currently 15th compared to Vics' sixth in the top flight and tomorrow's game will kick off at 6pm.

Vics will then receive Bury as their guests on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, sixth-placed 1874 will look to return to winning ways when they head to third-placed Mossley on Saturday and then seventh-placed Runcorn Linnets on Tuesday in Northern Premier League West.

In the same division, Witton host a second-placed Leek Town side yet to lose on the road this season and will go on to visit fellow bottom-six side Colne on Tuesday.

Winsford United make the trip to Squires Gate on Saturday and 48 hours later in the Macron Cup second round they will entertain Barnton, who are home to New Mills on Saturday.
