MIDDLEWICH’S Christmas lights switch on date has been confirmed.
The town will be glowing with festive cheer on Friday, December 2 for its Christmas lights event – starting at 3pm and finishing at 8pm.
The festivities will take place along Wheelock Street and the Bull Ring.
There will be entertainment, street food, fireworks, Silk FM in attendance, St Luke’s Santa’s Grotto, a walk-in snow globe, the Ted Holland funfair, the Lions Youth Brass Band, Anton Benson ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ crew, St Michael’s carol service, Baxter duo, and ‘Play Your Christmas Cards Right’.
Adding to the excitement will be a lantern parade, Middlewich Rose Queen, Collin School for Dance, face painting, balloon modelling, a Christmas street market, plus appearances from other local organisations.
