NORTHWICH Town Council is searching for its missing defibrillator.

The device is usually kept on Leftwich Estate, Granville Road, within the telephone box on the corner of the road.

Northwich Town Council said: “On October 27, it was reported to us that our defibrillator was not in the cabinet.

“We believe the air ambulance had been called the evening before.

“The ambulance service has no record of the 999 calls being matched to the defibrillator, so are unable to locate it.

“If you have the defibrillator or know where it is, please contact us so we can come and collect this from you.”

Northwich Police also shared the appeal and after being asked whether air ambulance crews may have the defibrillator, they replied: “Enquiries have been made and it has been confirmed they didn't use it.”
