CHESHIRE Gymnastics members have revelled in the opportunity to be able to learn from the very best.

The USA men's and women's national teams spent time at the club as they tuned up for this week's World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which is being staged at Liverpool Arena.

"We have been so proud and so inspired to host the teams in our gymnasium based at Moss Farm in Northwich," said Cheshire Gymnastics director, Laura Hudson.

"Some of the best athletes in the world trained twice a day (last week) in their final preparations for the World Championships.

"It was a fantastic week, with gymnasts and the whole coaching team invited to have the privilege of watching these sessions and learning from the best of the best.

"The week ended on a high with a private dining experience in Middlewich for all of the Cheshire Gymnastics coaches with the full professional leading team from the USA."
