A 22-YEAR-OLD man has been handed a curfew after stealing meat and other food items from stores in Northwich.
Bradley Rosental stole meat from Sainsbury’s on two separate occasions - September 9 and October 20 of this year.
On the first occasion Rosental, of Church Road in Northwich, stole £67.44 worth of meat.
On his second trip, he stole £60 worth.
A week later, on October 27, the defendant stole foodstuffs to a value unknown from B&M.
Appearing in Chester Magistrates’ Court on October 29 for sentence, Rosental also faced charges of failing to surrender to custody at the same court on October 25, having been released on bail in September.
Magistrates sentenced him to a six-week curfew between the hours of 7pm and 7am.
He must also comply with up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days and pay back £60 in compensation.
On top of this, Rosental must pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
