A 20-YEAR-OLD woman has been disqualified from driving for getting behind the wheel of a vehicle after taking drugs.
Isabelle Peck, of The Crescent in Northwich, was caught driving along Manchester Road and the A556 in Lostock on April 27 and 28 of this year.
On October 11, Chester Magistrates’ Court she had a quantity of benzoylecgonine (cocaine body-breakdown product) in her system which exceeded the specified limit.
Peck pleaded guilty to drug driving and magistrates took this into account when imposing sentence.
She was fined £369 and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
Magistrates also ordered Peck to pay £120 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £37 surcharge.
