A MOULTON man has been hit with a £1,500 court bill after he was found guilty of causing more than £400 worth of damage to a fence.
Aiden Bunting, of Holst Gardens, originally denied causing damage to a woman’s fence on July 15 in Neston.
But after a trial at Chester Magistrates’ Court on September 30, the 52-year-old was found guilty of causing damage to the value of £440.
Magistrates said Bunting had been ‘intending to destroy or damage such property’ or was ‘reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged’.
He was ordered to pay £440 in compensation and was also fined a further £440.
To add to his court bill, Bunting must pay £640 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £44 surcharge.
