FIRE crews were dispatched to tackle a house fire in Northwich yesterday afternoon, Saturday.
Two fire engines from Northwich and Winsford fire stations rushed to The Green in Hartford shortly before 5pm.
On arrival at the scene, firefighters found that the fire had broken out in a bedroom on the first floor of the domestic property.
Crews extinguished the flames while wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel.
A large fan was also used to help clear smoke from the property. All persons were accounted for.
