A 36-YEAR-OLD man has been fined more than £400 after being in charge of a child while drunk.
Angleo Sunch, who lives in Northwich, appeared in Chester Magistrates’ Court on September 27 where he pleaded guilty to the offence, as well as to one charge of drink driving.
The court heard how on September 6 of this year, Sunch was drunk in Chester Road, Northwich, while being in charge of a child.
He was caught driving a vehicle along this road after drinking alcohol and gave a reading of 68 micogrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - almost twice the legal limit of 35 microgrammes.
Taking Sunch’s guilty plea into account, magistrates fined him £425.
He will also need to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £120 and a £170 surcharge.
Sunch is disqualified from driving for 18 months.
