THIS Sunday is National Grandparents Day 2022 – a whole day dedicated to grannies and grandads, nannas and grandpas – and we want to hear what makes your grandparents so special.
National Grandparents Day was founded by Age Concern UK and has been celebrated on the first Sunday in October since 2008, putting grandparents in the spotlight and giving families a chance to say thank you.
Does your grandma like to read you stories?
Do you enjoy going for walks with your grandad?
Are your grandparents always at the school gates to take you home each day?
Why are they so special?
Tell us by clicking on the link below and we will feature some of them in a special online gallery this Sunday as well as a selection in next week’s Northwich and Winsford Guardian.
Please include a clear photograph - no filtered pictures or montages – their full names, where in Northwich, Winsford and Middlewich they are from and tell us why you think they are the best.
We will not be able to use any submissions that have missing information.
Share your photos and messages here: northwichguardian.co.uk/my/ccn/assignment/zPMaehwA
If your grandparents have passed away and are no longer with us, you can leave a message for those you have loved and lost here:
Who has the best grandparent(s) in Northwich, Winsford and Middlewich and why?
Send us a picture of your grandparent(s) and tell us why they are the best!
