CHESHIRE Gymnastics competitors who train in major Olympic disciplines achieved impressive results across the region at the weekend.
Trampolinists bounced into action in Salford, while there was a women's artistic competition to contest in Liverpool.
The highlight was the performance of Lilia Dunne, 10, who achieved the gold medal on the asymmetric bars out of a huge category of 59 competitors.
She also gained silver on floor, silver on vault in which she also received Beam Queen and Great Vault awards.
Lilia also achieved an Excellent Execution Award on bars and Artistry Award on floor as she placed fifth overall.

Artistic gymnasts, Sunday: Issy Akhionbarre, age nine – fifth on floor and Vault, fourth on bars and beam, Beam Queen award, fourth overall; Amelia Smith, age 14, third on vault, Beam Queen award; Sian Rees, age 10, Artistry award; Pearl Oultram, age nine, Beam Queen award; Georgia Smith, age 10, Beam Queen award; Beau Shone, age nine, Beam Queen award.
Artistic gymnasts, Saturday: Mia Platt, age 16, sixth on vault; Isla Smith, age 11, Beam Queen and Judges Award for superb landings on her floor; Peyton Foy, age eight, Beam Queen; Bethany Fewtrell, age 10, Beam Award for sticking her routine; Meg Rees, age 12, Judges Award for expressive artistry.
