IT is just a few more days until the St Luke’s Hospice Colour Rush event arrives in Cheshire.

The event – raising funds for St Luke’s which has a hospice in Winsford – invites entrants to walk, run, jog or hop the 5k course while getting covered with coloured powder.

There are just two simple rules – you start the event wearing a plain white t-shirt, and finish the course as a ‘rainbow of colour’.

And the party doesn’t end at the finish line.

The event includes music, dancing, food and drink (including a gin bar) promising a fabulous day out for all.

KPI Recruiting and AO.com are sponsoring the event with KPI taking charge of the red coloured powder and AO looking after green.

The KPI and AO teams are hoping to make some wonderful memories and create some stunning photo opportunities along the way.

KPI operations director Estelle Raybon said: “We just had to be involved.

“This event not only brings the community together, but it’s also fantastic fun.

“Most importantly, it’s a chance to raise vital funds to continue St Luke’s end of life care for those who need it the most and support their families.

“Let’s paint the town red!”

Arafa Heneghan, director of brand at AO said: “We’re thrilled to be sponsoring the green paint station at the Colour Rush.

“We’re really looking forward to sharing the AO smile with all participants, whilst helping to raise vital funds for St Luke’s Hospice.”

The Colour Rush will set off at 12.30pm Sunday, September 18 with event village and registration opening at 11am in parkland at Chester Road, Nantwich.

Online sign-up has now closed but people can register on the day.
