A 34-YEAR-OLD woman from Northwich could be set to stand trial charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs in the town.
Emma Jones, of Oak Street, is charged with supplying a quantity of diamorphine in Northwich between October 22, 2021, and December 16, 2021.
Appearing at Chester Magistrates' Court on September 9, Jones made no indication of a plea.
Due to the severity of the alleged offence, magistrates sent the case up to crown court for a trial preparation hearing.
She will appear at Chester Crown Court on October 7 for the hearing, where she will also be asked to enter a plea to the offence.
