TWO casualties were rescued after a collision near Sandiway Golf Club last night, Saturday.
Emergency services announced a full road closure after the incident on Chester Road just after 7.15pm.
They have since confirmed the crash involved two cars and two people were handed over to the care of paramedics.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters attended a road traffic collision on Chester Road.
“The collision involved two vehicles and firefighters released two casualties from the cars and handed them into the care of paramedics.
“A full closure of the road was put in place while the incident was dealt with.”
