THE cast of this year's pantomime at the Grange Theatre in Northwich has been announced.

From Saturday, December 10, until January 1, 2023, KD Theatre Productions will bringing the story of Sleeping Beauty to life on stage.

Dazzling and delighting audiences will be Mollie Kate Angus, who is returning to the Hartford theatre as the wicked Carabosse, Lucy Brindle as Princess Aurora and Jake Hankey as the dashing Prince Harry.

Joining the cast for their Grange Theatre pantomime debuts are the hilarious pantomime dame Mark Hyde as Nurse and comedy favourite Charles M Duke as Presto.

Work is already underway behind the scenes on the popular pantomime, which will offer something for the whole family to enjoy.

The panto will tell the story of Princess Aurora, who falls into an enchanted sleep after the evil Carabosse causes her to prick her finger on a spinning wheel.

Follow Prince Harry's efforts to wake her as Aurora's endearing Nurse O'Dear looks for love and her best friend Muddles hopes to finally get the court Jester job he craves.

Katherine Hickmott and Daniel Bell, the producers for KD Theatre Productions, said: "We are delighted to be bringing this talented company of performers to the Grange Theatre this Christmas.

"This year’s pantomime promises to be our most spectacular and exciting to date filled with lots of new surprises as well as all the traditional elements that the Grange Theatre audiences have come to know and love."

Sleeping Beauty is written by Daniel Bell, directed by Harry Tennison with choreography by Rob Stevens, lighting design by Gregory Jordan and sound design by Alistair Penman.

Local pantomime fans will have their chance to meet the cast and see a snippet of Sleeping Beauty on Thursday, October 27 at The Grange Theatre.
