FAMILIES can now start buying tickets for a magical light extravaganza coming to Cheshire this October.

The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade returns to BeWILDerwood Cheshire next month giving visitors a chance to see the woods after hours.

On the walk the usual play structures will be closed, but visitors will be able to discover 'mysterious' paths exclusive to the event.

There will also be the chance to craft your own lantern and help the Boggles light up the woods at Hazel's Hideaway, before embarking on your journey.

Author and creator of BeWILDerwood Tom Blofeld said: "We’re thrilled to be bringing this event back to the woods.

"It was very, very popular last year, so we’re excited for visitors to see all the new things we have in store!

"Tickets whizzed out last year, we couldn’t quite believe the demand, so we really recommend booking your place right away to secure tickets.”

The event will take place every evening from the October 15 to October 31 (including October half term too) and has scheduled time slots.

Extra dates have been added in 2022 due to such a high demand for tickets last year.

Tickets for the Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade will be available on the BeWILDerwood website from September 2 at 12.30pm.

As always tickets are limited and must be booked in advance as this is a separate ticketed event.

If visitors wish to play in the day and attend the special event in the evening, they will need to make two separate bookings.

The event is included for WILD WILD WILD annual pass holders, however they are still required to book their space.

Tickets to this event are £12.50 each (under 92cm, wheelchair users and carers are free).

A array of food items will be available at the on-site Munch bar, including warming snacks and hot drinks.

Tickets are available from 12.30pm on the BeWILDerwood website: cheshire.bewilderwood.co.uk/
