CHESHIRE Gymnastics is home to some of the sport's best competitors in England – and that's official!

Six of the club's members won gold medals at the English Championships staged at the Telford International Centre at the weekend.

And another of their gymnasts came home with a bronze medal.

The newly crowned English champions are James Appleton, 14, Lily Mae-Martin, 13, Isabella Gorry, 13, Harry Sands, 12, Dylan Lowth, 11 and Annabelle Garvey, 10, while Joshua Chow, 17, collected bronze.

Coach Mark Hudson was thrilled with the results and said: “Getting gymnasts to this point takes a whole team effort – our gymnasts, their families, our coaching team and administrators too.

"I’m just grateful for everybody’s support for our brilliant young athletes.”
