IT’S nearly the end of July and that means sunshine, summer holidays and no school until September – but where do you go to keep the children entertained?

The six-week holidays can seem endless with hours and days to fill to keep the little ones busy – and happy – this summer.

Northwich has some fantastic parks and play areas that are ideal for children of all ages - which one is your favourite?

Or do you prefer to go bowling, trampolining and catch the latest film at the cinema?

Where is your number one go to place in Northwich to take the children in the summer holidays?

Where is Best for Children?

In our Best of 2022 campaign, we’ve given out 12 awards so far in Mid Cheshire for hair, nails, beauty, fitness, pubs and independent shop as well as pies, fish and chips, breakfast, afternoon tea, roast dinner and pizza.

Lissie Wright Hair, The Beauty Spot, Sharon Power Fitness, The Lion and The Style Hut together with JD’s Cafe, Winsford Fryer, Oakwood Marina, Poppy Rose Vintage Tearooms, Hartford Hall and Oakwood Smoke and Dough have all been crowned winners in their respective categories.

Voting is currently taking place to find the best beer garden in the area with the closing date midnight on Monday.

This week, we want you to tell us the best place in Northwich to take children this summer and then the overall winner will be decided by you, our readers.

HOW IT WORKS:

Each Friday morning we will reveal new categories via our social media pages and ask you who is the best. Nominations close each Monday morning at 12pm.

Then each Thursday we will publish a shortlist of finalists with voting officially opening.

You will be able to vote in one of three ways:

- By commenting under the relevant post on our Knutsford Guardian, Northwich Guardian and Winsford and Middlewich Guardian Facebook pages = 1 vote

- By entering via the online article on our Knutsford Guardian, Northwich Guardian and Winsford and Middlewich Guardian websites = 2 votes

- By entering via our Knutsford Guardian, Northwich Guardian and Winsford and Middlewich Guardian newspapers = 5 votes

The following Wednesday evening we will announce the winner of that category on social media.

They will then be entered into the running for our overall Simply The Best award at the end of the competition.

Usual Newsquest competition rules apply.
